This Privacy Policy explains what information Faith Harbor Insights collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We try to keep it short and in plain English.
Who we are
Faith Harbor Insights is published by Pastor Shawn Miller in Ohio. You can reach us at shawn@faithharborinsights.com. Faith Harbor Insights is part of a family of Ohio-focused properties run by Pastor Shawn Miller, including Faith Harbor™ Ministry Platform, Faith Harbor Web Solutions, and Ohio Business Digest.
What we collect
Your email address (and optionally your name) when you subscribe to the newsletter through the form on this site. That is the only personal information we ask for.
Standard web server logs — like every site, our web server keeps basic technical logs of visits (IP address, browser type, pages visited). We use these only to monitor site health and security.
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising pixels, or behavioral tracking on this site.
What we do with it
Your email address is used only to send you the newsletter. If you reply to an issue, your reply is read by a human (Pastor Shawn Miller).
Server logs are kept for a short time on our hosting provider's server and reviewed only if there is a security or uptime concern.
Who we share it with
Letterman.ai is the newsletter platform we use to send the actual emails. Letterman has access to your email address as a service provider for us, governed by their own privacy policy.
Our sister sites — Faith Harbor Ministry Platform, Faith Harbor Web Solutions, and Ohio Business Digest — are run by the same publisher. If we ever email you about a relevant offer from one of these sister properties, that is the same publisher communicating with the same audience, not third-party sharing.
Nobody else. We do not sell your email address or share it for marketing with anyone outside the family of sites named above.
Your rights
- Unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter, or by replying to any issue with the word "unsubscribe."
- Ask us what we have about you by emailing shawn@faithharborinsights.com.
- Ask us to delete it. Email us and we will remove you from our list and confirm.
We respond within a few business days. If you are in the EU or California, you have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA — the process is the same: just ask.
Children
Faith Harbor Insights is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this Privacy Policy in any meaningful way, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Major changes will be noted in an upcoming newsletter.
